May Day Mayfly Nymph Fly Tying Tutorial

The May Day Mayfly Nymph is a versatile and realistic imitation of the nymph stage of a mayfly. This fly is designed to imitate the vulnerable aquatic insect during its subsurface life before it emerges as an adult. Featuring a slim body, natural colours, and subtle movement in the water, the May Day Mayfly Nymph is highly effective for targeting trout and other freshwater species that feed on mayfly nymphs. This is hands down my favourite mayfly pattern that we carry in the shop for our Stillwater fisheries.
