Galaxy Wotsit Fly Tying Tutorial

The Galaxy Wotsit works as an attractor fly, using bright colour and movement to trigger reaction takes rather than copying a specific food. They’re best fished either on a full sinking line and stripped with short quick strips or dangled under an indicator. The jig hook we use in the video makes it perfect for both situations for Stillwater applications. This is a style of pattern that could be used in rivers as well.

Popular colours include orange, pink, chartreuse, and yellow, with darker or more natural shades working well in clear or pressured water. Simple, durable, and deadly, the Wotsit is a fly every angler should carry.
