Most anglers fish leeches under an indicator, but the way the fly sits in the water makes a bigger difference than most realize.
The Dirty Balanced Leech is tied to sit perfectly horizontal. When it pauses, it does not tip forward or drop out of position. It stays level in the water column, which gives it a more natural look and often leads to more takes.
In this video, I walk through how to tie the pattern step by step and highlight the small details that help it fish the way it should.
