Lazer Chromie Chironomid Fly Tying Tutorial

The BC chironomid community has so many pattern names that it’s hard to keep track! One of my personal favourites is a pattern I like to call the Lazer Chromie. It proved incredibly effective for me last season, even helping our buddy Adam (aka “Titicaca”) land his personal best interior Rainbow. When I’m starting out on a lake, I often begin with a chromie-style pattern until I can pinpoint the size and color of the hatch.
