Big Daddy Shiner Fly Tying Tutorial

Shiner patterns are getting more popular for our Stillwater fisheries in BC and for good reason. Our provincial fisheries managers have been stocking more lakes with predatory fish-eating strains of rainbows into our lakes that have populations of shiners in order to try and control them. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love it when a hot fish smashes a streamer? We sure do! Tie up a few Big Daddy’s and see if you can catch yourself a real “Big Daddy”.
