Olive and ASB Chironomid Fly Tying Tutorial

The Olive and ASB Chironomid is a simple yet highly effective stillwater trout pattern that imitates an emerging chironomid pupa. The slim olive body, subtle flash, and bright gill tuft create a realistic profile that trout key in on during chironomid hatches. Fish it under an indicator, naked, or on a deep line when trout are feeding subsurface. Its durability, ease of tying, and consistent performance make it a pattern worth carrying throughout the stillwater season.
