Flesh Fly Recipe Tied by Casey

The Flesh Fly is a deadly simple and effective pattern for targeting any fish that is scavenging the flesh of the decaying salmon in the river. We fish this fly from November into early steelhead season and have plenty of success with it! We typically swing the fly on a sink tip and a fairly short leader, roughly 4 feet.
