Wapsi Strung Schlappen Long

Schlappen: not only fun to say, but fun to use. Key ingredient in spey and saltwater flies. Approximately 1/8 oz of 6" to 7" long soft, solid web.

• Schlappen are long heavily webbed hackle from the base of the rooster saddle.
• Schlappen is ideal for collars on steelhead and salmon flies. It can also be used for tails, legs, palmered hackle, spey hackle, beards, throats and wings.
• The softer Schlappen feather fibers move easily in the water.
• When wrapped as a collar, they flow back naturally over the fly.
