St. Croix Rods can proudly say that they have one of the most technologically- advanced fishing rod building facilities in North America. A good majority of their rods are manufactured in their facility located in Park Falls, Wisconsin.  Rods that are not manufactured in the USA are made in their state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Fresnillo, Mexico. Like the USA facility, there is no outsourcing of any part of the rod- manufacturing process. Everything is done in-house.

A lot of people may not be aware of just how long St. Croix has been in the rod manufacturing business. They began manufacturing in 1948 and were the first company to manufacture a multi-piece bamboo rod.  Fast forward to today and St. Croix has emerged as a leader in the rod manufacturing industry.

Avid Spinning Rods

The St. Croix Avid Spinning Rods are a high modulus graphite series of rods that offer top-notch performance, great sensitivity and feel light in the hand.  We offer this series in a couple of trout ultralight models as well as a medium light that is suitable for salmon fishing. This is a series of rods that has been manufactured for a number of years and has stood the test of time.  The Avid series is designed and manufactured in the USA.

Premier Spinning Rods

As the name implies, the St. Croix Premier Spinning Rods are quality spinning rods that will offer years of solid performance.  If you’re looking for a rod that is of good value, without breaking the bank, the Premier series is one to consider. The models in this series are focused on river salmon fishing. The Premier series is designed and manufactured in the USA.

Triumph Spinning Rods

Whether pursuing trout or salmon, we have a St. Croix Triumph Spinning Rod to suit your needs.  The Triumph has a lower price point than some of the other St. Croix rods but don’t let that comment lead you to believe that this series is anything but a top performer.

Triumph Surf Rods

The St. Croix Triumph Surf Rod series has been one of our go-to choices for anglers travelling to tropical destinations to cast from shore.  These rods are multi-piece rods that come with a carrying case, making them an ideal rod choice for travelling. These rods have a nice fast action for launching lures a long distance.

Triumph Baitcasting Rods

Similar to their spinning counterpart, the St. Croix Triumph Baitcasting Rod is of great value. These rods are quality performers at a reasonable price point.  We brought in this model of rods primarily as a lure casting rod for salmon and steelhead.

Imperial Fly Rods

The St. Croix Imperial Fly Rod received a re-vamp recently and has been significantly upgraded from its previous model.  When trying these rods, we were very impressed with how they cast and the feedback from customers has been nothing short of outstanding. 

Mojo Fly Rods

The St. Croix Mojo Fly Rods are St. Croix’s entry-level fly rods. Like their other entry-level priced rods, nothing is sacrificed in performance and reliability in making a rod that doesn’t break the bank.  These fly rods have a more moderate action, something that is sometimes more challenging to find in today’s market of fast action rods.
