Simms Jackets We Carry

The design team at Simms is working hard to produce better products every season. Simms has an unmatched desire to create jackets to meet or exceed the expectations of anglers, even in the most demanding conditions.  Simms offers a broad range of rain jackets in their line-up. Some are designed for a specific purpose, while others are designed more for all-around usage.

G4 Pro Men’s

The Simms G4 Pro Jacket is the top-of-the-line model in the Simms line-up, utilizing 3-layer, Pro Shell Gore-Tex.  Some of the highlights of these high performance rain jackets are the 3-point adjustable storm hood, shingled watertight cuffs and large two-zippered side pockets. There are two waterproof breast pockets (one of which has a sunglass cleaning cloth) and another waterproof pocket on the left sleeve.  These coats are a shorter cut, ideal for wading rivers but perfectly suitable for other fishing applications.

G3 Guide Men’s

The Simms G3 Guide Jacket is a staple name in the product line-up. The Simms G3 Guide Jacket has seen a revamp for the spring 2022 season. As we expected, it’s a pretty spectacular looking garment.  Built from 3-layers of Gore-Tex, it boasts a 3-point hood, two zippered breast storage pockets, two spacious side pockets, articulated sleeves and stretch panels across the back to allow maximum mobility, adjustable watertight cuffs and a sharp gunmetal colour.

Pro Dry Men’s

The Simms ProDry Jacket is a longer-length design that is more suited towards fishing out of a boat.  This doesn’t mean that it can’t be worn while shore fishing, it’s just not going to stay out of the water if wading in deep water.  Made from Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer fabric, it ensures you’re nice and dry no matter the conditions you may face on a less than ideal day.  The articulated sleeves have safety reflective lines on them as well as a watertight synch cuff.  There are two zippered waterproof breast pockets and two lower pockets not seen on the shorter models. It also has a handy internal pocket for keeping the essentials close at hand.  

Bulkley Men’s

If you want to wrap yourself up in the warmest and comfiest waterproof coat around, the Simms Bulkley Jacket is for you.  Lined with the amazing Primaloft synthetic material with a 2-layer Gore-Tex outer, there’s no such thing as too cold or too wet.  There are two fleece lined hand warmer pockets as well as two pockets big enough to hold most fly boxes.    

CX Fishing Jacket Men’s

The Simms CX Fishing Jacket is a slightly longer cut than the traditional wading jacket. It is equipped with two waterproof breast pockets with TruZip zippers and two zippered lower pockets.  Constructed from a super durable 3-layer waterproof breathable fabric, it keeps you dry in the most adverse conditions.

Guide Classic Men’s Jacket

The Simms Guide Classic Jacket is the revamped edition of Simms longest-running product which has remained virtually unchanged for years and years. The Guide Classic is constructed of 3-layer Gore-Tex. It has two breast pockets, large enough for almost any size of fly box. Behind those pockets are fleece lined hand warmer pockets.  This is as rugged as they come.

Freestone Men’s

The Simms Freestone Jacket is a great fishing raincoat. It’s constructed from the always reliable 3-layer Toray breathable fabric.  It features two vertical breast pockets as well as a zippered fleece-lined hand warmer pocket. The articulated sleeves help to allow free unhindered movement.   

Challenger Men’s

This is a very popular piece, as it is a longer-length coat designed with the boat angler in mind.  The Simms Challenger Jacket is constructed from 2-layers of Toray Delfy breathable fabric to keep you dry and put a smile on your face at the end of a wet soggy day, even if you didn’t catch any fish.  The Challenger has a single zippered breast pocket which has a sunglass cleaning cloth and two zippered lower pockets.  A three-point adjustable hood allows you to really shut out the rain and keeps you warm, dry and happy.

Insulated Challenger Men’s

The Insulated Challenger Jacket has all the same attributes as the regular Challenger model but with a Primaloft Silver lining. It is perfect for keeping you warm on those cold uncomfortable days.

Built with 3-layer Gore-Tex fabric, the Simms G3 Guide Women’s Jacket gives you the best in waterproofing and breathability. The watertight cuffs and the storm hood help to keep the water off you, even in the biggest of downpours.  Two upper and two lower zippered front pockets allow for ample storage space.

Waypoint Women’s

The Simms Waypoint Women’s Jacket is a great lightweight coat perfect for those spring or summer showers.  A 2.5-layer Toray breathable outer shell keeps you dry.  There are two lower zippered pockets and an adjustable hood.
