We will introduce commercial techniques for tying beach flies for the Pacific Northwest and cover new redressing techniques for the upcoming Pink fishery and Coho Salmon flies for local waters. We will cover patterns for lakes, rivers, estuaries and oceans using a variety of modern materials. 

Prerequisite - Fundamentals 101 or equivalent. 

Students are required to bring their own vise and tools. Threads in black, orange, pink, chartreuse and mono thread. Uv resin and light and head cement. 

Your Instructor

Your instructor is Dennis Gamboa, a professional commercial tyer. He has been commercially tying flies for over 30 years and teaching fly tying classes for over 25 years to the fishing community in beautiful British Columbia, Canada. He belongs to several PRO Teams and is regularly featured in books, Swing Magazine and BC Outdoors Magazine. He is renowned for his original takes on current and timeless fly patterns. When Dennis is not fishing or paddling all over the world, he shines at the bench when he is teaching his innovative commercial techniques to all level of tyers.
