Learn to Bass Fish with Sea-Run Fly & Tackle

You are invited to a 4 day bass angling getaway at Gallagher lake Resort! We will teach you how to successfully catch bass on popular gear set up’s and on the fly!

Hosted by Dennis Gamboa of The Fly Box and Co-hosted by Casey “Bass Boss” Giesbrecht of Sea-Run Fly & Tackle.

The trip includes camp site reservations with power and water, afternoon optional tying session, gear talk and techniques, ice cream run and all lake tutorials. Daily and evening fish outs with optional fishing on Vaseux lake.

Join us in the hidden valley of the Similkameen. Okanagan wine country and home to some of the best bass fishing B.C. has to offer. This spring fed lake holds both small/largemouth bass, perch, carp, sunfish and whitefish species.

We will be staying at the popular Gallagher Lake Rv Resort. All shared camping sites include power and water. Laundry facilities, hot showers and cleaning/washing stations.

Optional Fishing on Vaseux Lake (No electric – row/paddle only!)

Complete with Ice cream tour of the famous Tickleberry’s ice cream shop with over 100 flavors, creative chocolate and trendy gifts from local artisans.

Please note there is no boat launch at the resort.

Electric motors are welcome. Small craft recommended. 9 feet or less. Sups, kayaks, canoes, belly boats, pontoons, spratleys, fly fishers and small zodiacs only.

Please note that this is a catch and release fishery.

Gear/Fly Co-Host is Casey Giesbrecht

Casey is a member of the Sea-Run team and has been in the fishing industry for over 5 years now. He is an ambassador for Pure Fishing Canada representing brands like Abu Garcia, Berkley, Penn, and more! He has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a fishing rod. Fishing waters from far as Cuba and up North in Haida Gwaii. He is well reversed in all types of conventional fishing as well as both single and double handed fly fishing. A seasoned tyer with 21 years mastering patterns for all types of species. His obsession for targeting trophy Bass is only second to his need to discover new tackle and techniques to chase his prey.

Your host is Dennis Gamboa from The Fly Box. Author of the upcoming book, “The Commercial Tyer -Trade Secrets Revealed “, Dennis has been teaching fly tying classes for over 20 years all over the Lower Mainland. His specialty is Saltwater flies from local waters to exotic destinations he is a Master of the art of commercial tying with over 25 years’ experience on his Regal Vise.

His creativity and design earned him a spot on The Lagartun Pro Staff Team and a Partridge Pro-TEAM Member to represent the West Coast of B.C. Canada. He is part of the Flymen Fishing Company (CFT) Program and a Canadian Llama PRO-Tyer.
