Bass Fly Tying Secrets!

This modern full day fly workshop will focus on tying some of the most effective patterns for chasing local and Okanagan Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. We will cover wet flies as well as building top water poppers in the most simple and creative ways.

Learn to paint with the Copic Airbrush System or stencil with simple sharpies to create Foam Bodies that imitate frogs , mice and wounded baitfish.

Patterns will include the Green Churiso, Fettuccini mouse, Articulated Deep Zonker, The Bass Slider and more!

Your instructor for the day is Master Commercial Tyer Dennis Gamboa from The Fly Box. Author of the upcoming book, “The Commercial Tyer “, Dennis has been teaching fly tying classes for over 20 years all over the Lower Mainland. His specialty is Saltwater flies from local waters to exotic destinations he is a Master of the art of commercial tying with over 25 years experience on his Regal Vise.

His creativity and design has earned him a spot on Jerkbaitmania and The Lagartun Pro Staff Team.He is also a member of the Steath , Partridge Pro-TEAM Member to represent the West Coast of BC Canada. He is also part of the Flymen Fishing Company Commercial Fly Tyers (CFT) Program and Canadain Llama PRO-Tyer.
