Andrew Redmont

Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Andrew started fishing at the tender age of 6. Early trips fishing the Fraser River and other local streams was all it took to get him hooked for life. Andrew’s countless hours of fishing have taken him on adventures across BC and around the globe. Andrew has a deep appreciation for fishing tackle and purchased his first centre-pin at the age of 10 and then first spey rod at the age of 13. Today, his extensive gear collection includes over 30 different rods with the reels to match, he still finds room to add at least 1 now setup each year.

A versatile angler in all aspects of fishing, Andrew’s expertise extends from diverse fly tying, big water spey fishing, float fishing to fishing the warm water destinations for Bonefish and Tarpon. A master of the art of fly tying he has been creating innovative fly patterns for as long as he has been fishing. His keen interest and fishing experience has lead to jobs with some of BC’s top outfitters such as Ruddick’s Fly Shop, Anglers West and now Sea-Run Fly and Tackle. Known for his vast knowledge of fishing methods and great customer service, Andrew’s passion for fishing is passed on to each customer he helps.
