Fly Tying

Sea-Run Fly and Tackle has one of the largest fly-tying material and tool selections in British Columbia, with approximately 1,000 square feet of our shop dedicated to fly tying. We have a huge stock of furs, feathers, hooks and every other material imaginable so you can create those killer patterns the fish cannot resist.

We have a wide variety of fly tying tools and vises from the worlds best manufacturers including, Renzetti, Regal, Dyna King , Stenzel, Dr. Slick, and Griffen. We stock a wide variety of the standard natural furs, hackles, capes, dubbings and hairs, along with an endless assortment of synthetic materials. We have beads, chenilles, eyes, tinsels, wires, threads, head cements, along with specialty materials required for spey and intruder flies.

We use an extensive group of fly tying material suppliers including Metz, Whiting, Angler’s Choice, Super Fly, Stillwater Solutions, Fly Angler and Dragonfly. We carry Mustad (regular and “Signature”), Partridge, Tiemco, Daiichi and Owner fly hooks in a broad range of styles and sizes to cover all styles of freshwater and saltwater patterns. If we don’t have exactly what you need, which is hard to imagine, we can order it in for you.

Along with our fly tying products, Sea-Run provides service. All of the Sea-Run team members are avid tiers and can provide you with tying tips and advice if you have any questions on tying specific patterns or tying techniques and the related materials. We have fly tying instructors on staff who are continually running courses for both the novice and advanced fly tyers.
